Pros and cons of Lost Cities app for iPhone and iPad

Lost Cities app good for

cmon guys, this is not an apple issue. other turn based gc games work fine with iOS 8.
Coding Monkeys doesnt do lots of board game ports, but they lavish care and attention on the ones they do tackle. Carcassonne is fabulous; this has a great interface, its easy to learn and very slick. I especially like the achievements to level up: they actually add some fun to playing against the AI. I know people are complaining about the lack of a universal version: Ive played this almost exclusively on the iPad in 2X mode and it looks and plays great. The lack of a universal app shouldnt keep you away. The one thing Id like to see is the addition of a pass and play mode for local play, but this works less well in a card game with hidden information.
Id like to give this game five stars, but I cant.... Yet. Online play needs a turn time limit like in carcassonne. I have played too many games that have taken days because people can not commit to play a game through to the end in one sitting. I dont want to surrender the game, so it drags on and on. I hope this gets fixed soon.... Other then that Im really liking the game!
A beautiful app, artfully assembled and with a clean and clear interface. It had problems with not being colourblind friendly but they recently fixed that with an update!
The game really great, its one of the best card games in the App Store.
I love this game but Ive been having a problem lately playing Krusenstern where he simply stops playing and wont make his move, usually fairly early on in the game. Its very frustrating as he is the only AI that really challenges me. Fix that bug and its definitely a 5 star game!

Some bad moments

3 generations in and people are still making iPhone only apps? Shame on you. Had I realized that I would never have bought this app. Maybe they should change it to read "developed for iPhone/iPod touch" instead of "compatible with iPhone/iPod touch, and iPad."
When playing vs the AI, the game is weights a AI win at +4% and my win at +2% making it impossible to gain ground and completing challenges. Was fun for first 200 plays now just frustrating.
This used to be a five-star app for me but since the most recent OS update, it no longer works. All my games froze and they have now all expired. I really enjoy playing this game so I hope an update is in the works.
Like to lose? Play this game. Fun at first but soon it becomes obvious: the Ai always seems to draw cards it needs. Too predictable. Nice looking game but crappy/frustrating to play against lucky Ai. Not fun at all.
Ive been playing this regularly for 2 months now, great game, lots of playability
Continues to be a good experience. Ive been playing multiplayer for a while now. It excels in that area. One of the recent updates has made the game look stupendous on the iPad 2. Ever though this is listed as an iPhone game. Its not native iPad. But looks close, with "hires" type graphics and not pixel doubled like before. Yay. Thanks. Lastly, today my wifes on the other side of the world (in different time zone). Today, we are FaceTime Audio-ing, catching up the days events, while playing Lost Cities. Yea.
